Really pleasant trip! This is the closest supermarket if you live in the north of Orlando and you don't want to hit busy Colonial Drive. Produce looks fresh and beautiful. Although it states Korean market there is plenty of items for Vietnamese cooking such as - lemongrass, dried noodle selection, cooking condiments and powders (annato seeds), wrappers for spring rolls and egg rolls. Prices for produce are reasonable!
I love that there is an Asian grocer more north than east colonial. It makes my trip to get groceries shorter and easier. They are completely family-run, feature fresh take-home containers filled with items like ban chan and black bean sauce and they even have their own cosmetics area. The only thing they are missing is a fresh meat department which can be tough to manage if the foot traffic is not high enough. Otherwise, it is the perfect place for me to stock up on my essentials, fresh vegetables, and pick up some new snacks as well. We wanted to go to a Korean market to see if they had Korean drinks and items and although they did have the usual like other oriental stores, this one had more stuff in bulk. This stores sits in the center of a plaza and next to it is a new Korean restaurant. Employees were working and stocking shelves when we walked in. It says the store is newly opened but I don't know for how long, it looks clean. They have fresh kimchi and Bonchon side dishes and a lot of variety there with nice cuts of meats in the frozen section. It was definitely out of the way for us since it's not near the other Asian towns. This one is located in Winter Park in an older area but it had a lot of bakeries and stuff nearby. It was a good trip but I don't know if I would make the trip out unless needing things in bulk.
Great oriental market!! Amazing service. Wonderful Ambience. We are regulars once every 10 days. Grocery shopping for oriental items in Edgewater drive or Lockhart area! Lady at the counter! Owners family Chi I guess she's awesome
